More personnal guidelines

I was thinking how i should play, and I stumbled upon a great article describing short-handed poker. Basically the article explains why limping is "wrong" and how to enhance your BB/100 playing more tight-aggressive.

So i will try to:

sit a table, watch everyhand played and the cards that players showdown, establish a tight image, and then change gear.

I will never limp except in special situations, like if im on the cut-off with a playable hand but, not strong enough to chase 2 limpers out of the hand. I know this kind of play is less EV+ than other styles, but i have to adapt to the micro-stakes, and the "no foldem" nature of these tables.

Everytime i'll enter a pot i will try to make it at least 3-4 times the big blind.
I will not chase gut-shots, or play top pair top kicker for all my stack.
